My love for makeup began at an early age while growing up in the beautiful Cape Town. Watching beauty pageants and beauty magazines I was so fascinated how make-up cannot just make you feel beautiful but enhance the features you love the most.
I studied at the International Academy of Health and Beauty in Greenpoint, Cape Town in 2003. I did a Beauty Therapy course and worked as a Beauty Therapist at a beauty salon. As a beauty therapist I found my true passion for make-up and I enjoyed it more than my other beauty treatments I did at the salon.
I specialize in Fashion, Runway, bridal, events / occasions, beauty, creative and lifestyle to name a few. I also do hairstyling upon request. I only use makeup from professional product ranges.
It is my main objective and passion to make each and every person who sits in my chair feel like they are their most beautiful and confident self from inside out. Have a look at my portfolio and contact me for quotes on my services.
I recieved my CBD Oil products from Oil Science South Africa, which I won through a competition they had. CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis (marijuana).
CBD oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant, diluted with a carrier oil like coconut or hemp seed oil.
CBD oil has been studied in treating many common health concerns such as anxiety, depression, acne, heart disease, insomnia, pain relief, skin care and many more.
I am excited to use these products as I do suffer from insomnia and hope to find some pain relief from back and shoulder aches.
The products I received from Oil Science CBD Oil are:
They do have other CBD products online too as well as CBD Pet oil drops for your furry friends.

On a wintery and rainy day we could not ask for a better day and weather for our fashion shoot that took place on a farm in Malmesbury. Model Zina Berecz made every shot look effordless. Our theme was cow girl, check and denim and how to play up with it in terms of styling. I started with a natural look and warmed up the skin and lips as we went along. I curled and styled her hair as we changed outfits to compliment the full look.
We the Kuier team went to Hillcrest Winery Estate in Durbanville to have our shoot. Our model Joy-Nita, curve model from Ice Genetics and Dentist as profession was a natural in front of the camera. Her hair kept curly and full and makeup I kept it warm and natural look and warmed up the lips more as we moved on to different outfits.
I know Chelsea from a previous shoot we did and she loved her makeup and asked me to do her makeup for her wedding as well.
The wedding took place at the beautiful Nelson's Creek Estate in Paarl. The Via Tv crew was there to capture Chelsea's special day as well as the behind the scenes moments.
In January we the fashion team at Kuier usually have our back to work fashion shoot. Ways on how to look trendy but still presentable. Makeup and hair would be natural yet emphasizing on the good features and by just adding more color after work when having dinner with friends or family. Our model for the day was the beautiful Shernell Meyer.
This was a really fun and crazy shoot and at the same time put you in a Christmas mood. The Bravo Tv crew was there to capture the behind the scene moments of the Suidooster cast as well as us the Kuier magazine team.
Had a great time meeting and working with the Suidooster actors and actresses Denise Newman, Portia Joel, Jill Levenberg, Desire Manthey Gardner, Marco Spaumer, Maurice Paige and Irsaad Ally.
I have always been a big fan of horror movies and when Halloween comes it is a great time to play with makeup. I decided to do a 'The Nun' makeup inspired look and make it as scary as possible of course. Products used are Kryolan Dermacolor, Catrice Cosmetics smokey eye set 030 and brushes from Real Techniques.
Marc Lottering, stand-up comedian from Cape Town. In 2017 he staged a musical called "Aunty Merle the Musical". Other well known characters he plays on stage are Smiley, Galata, Pastor Brandon, Coleen and Travis. Once again, always a pleasure working with Marc Lottering and always fun.
It was once again a huge privilege to work with actress June van Merch. Always a good laugh when working with June and to listen to all her wonderful and inspiring stories and memories.
Had the opportunity to work with social media personality Rasheeqah Karriem. We did a Royal inspired (Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth) fashion shoot for Kuier magazine fashion spread.
The makeup was kept minimal with soft styles curls, nothing over the top to represent Royalty.
